The browse responses screen allow browsing of survey response data.


To access the Browser screen, click on the Browse icon in the Home tab on the menu

Specifies is responses are browsed by surveys or by respondent.

Browse by survey

The table shows the surveys that have responses and to which the user has access. The responses for the survey can be exported as an file by selecting the survey and using the Export tool.

Upon selection of a survey, the responses for the survey are shown below the table of surveys.

Responses for a survey

The table shows all the responses for the selected survey. To find a specific response, filter the responses shown with the filter tool.

To view the details of a response, select the response and use the Details tool.

If the response has historical information associated with it (i.e., information on what changes were made when to the response data), you can view the history information with the History tool.

To edit a response, select the response and use the Edit tool. To edit a response, you must be an owner of the survey and also have the Delete responses privilege for the organization.

To delete a response, select the response and use the Delete tool. To delete a response, you must be an owner of the survey and also have the Delete responses privilege for the organization.

To reset a response, select the response and use the Reset tool. Resetting a response marks the response as not complete (i.e., the response does not have a completion date). Also, it sets the current page for the response at the beginning of the survey. If the respondents resume answering the response, they will be brought back to the first page in the survey. All of the data for the response will remain.

Browse by respondents

The table shows the respondent for surveys to which the user has access. If a respondent has answered more than one survey, column Surveys in the table will contain the name of these surveys.

Upon selection of a respondent, the responses for the respondent are shown below the table of respondents.

The table shows all the responses for the selected respondent. Personal information for the respondent, if any, is shown above the table.

To find a specific response, filter the responses shown with the filter tool.

To view the details of a response, select the response and use the Details tool.
