The check box tab contains parameters that affect the appearance of check boxes that are shown to participants when taking a survey.

Specifies is default system or custom check boxes should be used in surveys. Custom check boxes are usefully for creating strongly branded templates. They are also advisable for taking surveys from mobile devices, as the size of the check box can be controlled (larger check boxes are easier to check and uncheck than system check boxes on the typically small screen of mobile devices). |

Checkbox size Determines the size of the check box in pixels. Example:

Checkbox color Determines the color of the check box. |

Checkbox outer border thickness Determines the thickness in pixels of the line delimitating the checkbox Example:

Checkbox 'X' thickness Determines the thickness of the 'X' shown inside the check box when it is selected. In general, it is advisable to keep this setting at a value lower than the thickness of the outer border (see above). Example:

Color inside of checkbox Determines if the inside of the checkbox has color or if it is transparent. If the checkbox inside is transparent, the color of the background for the survey will show through the checkbox. Example:
