When you create and online survey include only one question per page. Most web survey software will save the respondent's answer after every page. Therefore, by placing each question on a separate page you can record the answer to every question and give the respondent the impression of continuous progress as they are taking the survey. If a respondent abandons the survey before it is finished, you will have their responses up to the point where they stopped answering.
